Canyon Dam Spillway
This is kinda pretty…. For being “man-made” …it’s maybe 30’
high
You will find this man-made waterfall
snuggled right up close to State Hwy 35 / 61 about 2 miles north of
Membres. A dam was built to form
Bear Creek Reservoir and instead of building a concrete spillway they channeled
the water to pour over this natural cliff. …good job feds.
