Horseshoe Creek Falls

There are many waterfalls on Horseshoe Creek below Horseshoe Lake in the Wheeler Peak Wilderness Area.  I separate them and describe them as three waterfalls:

Horseshoe Creek Falls

Horseshoe Creek Cascades

and

Horseshoe Creek Lower Cascades

These are all wonderful waterfalls and each is quite worthy of their own special recognition.

Horseshoe Creek Falls (main tier) is about 80 feet high with two small upper tiers shown below about 20 feet high.

Horseshoe Creek Falls (upper tier) is just above the main falls.

essay bro

The sight seen looking off the brink of Horseshoe Creek Waterfall is among New Mexico’s Grandest…!!! But don’t slip and fall here…!!!

Make yourself a copy of my map.  Horseshoe Creek Cascades as well as Horseshoe Creek Lower Cascades are listed on a separate page of their own.  Please enjoy all of the many waterfalls of the upper Red River.
